(1902-2002)
Bravo was a Mexican photographer and arguably one of the most important 20th Century Latin American photographers. A self taught photographer, Bravo aimed to capture the mundane and everyday life in a surrealistic way. He was influenced by the cultural and political climate of his time to redefine Mexican identity. His works have been recognized by UNESCO Memory of the World Registry in 2017.
